Worthing-based musician Andy Abbott has been recording under the alias 'Roamings' since 2009. In this time he has been experimenting with various styles of music.

Roamings is heavily influenced by his small south-coast town's past of a once thriving dance scene in the late eighties and early nineties.

Embracing old and forgotten equipment and music, Roamings draws on this history and uses the 16 bit sound of the nineties to process crackles, pops and melody from previous generations of music. Creating hypnotic, beat driven techno.

Currently recording material for a debut LP, and a collaboration record on the way with Jack Ryder 'Yawning Gulf' entitled Glades. Both to be released on Cycle.
